Apparently there are a fair number of older games using Virtual-Mate that have been translated that are completely unusable on 64-bit OS (because Virtual-Mate can't operate in 64-bit and freezes when the game loads up).
JList says there's a patcher for V-Mate though. https://help.jlist.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=2&nav=0 (https://help.jlist.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=2&nav=0)
However, "The patch is available to all current and past customers. In order to download it, access http://support.g-collections.com (http://support.g-collections.com) and enter the download activation code we sent you when you made the order."
Yeah, I haven't bought any of them. I guess the patches or installers could be shared, though. Does anyone have or know of a workaround that works with W7? Or at least have the patches they can upload?
I could even upload some of the games I have that need that V-Mate workaround (that aren't already on the site) even though my upload connection really is shit.
Just get the crack for each individual game.
What crack?
For example, I downloaded Kango Shicyauzo 2, applied the crack... and it died like it always has.
It just seems like it hobbles Virtual-Mate, not actually goes around it.
None of the other cracks seem to work either.
