A Spoiler Synopsis on the Plot of Story
This is mostly a spoiler for those who want to read. It won't spoil the main storyline, but actually tell what the story is like. In truth the Synopsis is like shit and crap and bullshit. You won't get what gore, brutal, sadist, masochist, and etc stuff you're going to read in this novel. This novel is mostly dark, it tends to recreate the MC's heart, which also is a sort of trial for him(Not that will give him Divine Protection, but what will let him be qualified to get Divine Protection). The MC is kind-hearted, good natured, free living, oh don't worry, when he snaps, 500+ people kick the buckets. He ain't a wuss who whines like a pig in human clothing being butchered. This guy shoots, snipes, uses sword, hatchets(Japanese Ones) And kills and Kills and KILLS. Oh gawd, this story is too good!, though it is quite slow, OK, it is really slow, do read at your own risk of reading a slow story

i want to ask before i read cause they said this contains something, anyway, does this novel really contain NTR? like that NTR where the love interest of the protag(the heroine girl) got f*cked till she is a slave to the guy that f*cked her or is it the other NTR which the Protag is the one doing the f*cking of the girl and the girl turned a slave to his c*ck? please answer.

No but it does have every other dark theme you can think of.

Any estimate on how close this series to ending? I've read some reviews, comments and many people saying that the pacing is quite slow so I figured I'd wait it out till the series finished to start reading.

If it continues to release 3 chapter per month, you should wait 8 years and 5 months to reach to the latest chapter(Raw).

It's not even full chapters. It's 3 PARTS of a chapter/month! Which means just 1 CHAPTER/month!! And they also name that as a 'chapter' in novelupdates eventhough they are just parts which makes it more confusing and irritating. I don't know why NU mods tolerate this!! IT'S ALL SO STUPID!!!

Ahh shit, ok. I thought I was seeing things when I saw that there were 300+ chapters untranslated, never knew it could be so slow till now. But I suppose it's better than nothing. Hopefully another group picks it up and releases faster.

To be honest when LN Translations(the previous translator) has said that they've gonna on Death Mage for a while in the past. I'm like an idiot that keeps visiting their site just to check chapters. Then months(almost a year, IIRC) after they said that Kuro no Maou will be dropped. After a year or two later, I saw that NU has new updates for the novel. I'm happy but at the same time just feel so shit in waiting when I saw that Asian Hobbyist is the translator. Because I know they do things like that, like releasing parts of a chapter a month. I just find really annoying that sometimes other comments in their website says how happy are they that someone finally took the series, and they keep on donating. Yet they release it that way. Just my thought, still if the series will get attention nevertheless then I'm happy.

Btw, are there any new updates? Seriously i'd stopped coming back to their website just to check. And big thanks for the PDFs.

Better wait till they release English version of LN. WN not gonna be ending this decade.

@ isekai - It's the web novel. This thread has "[WN]" in the title, the OP contains download links for volumes up to number 23, whereas the LN only goes up to volume 7. Plus there is no translation of the LN available.
