I don't know if its the typical isekai, to my they all look the same but has its unique things, i think this one too. I havent read it though. BUT i have been watching the anime, i thought that if I liked a couple of episode i'd give it a try. I have done something similar with other novels, but with this one, mmm i just kept watching to see if it got better and FOR ME it didnt so i dropped it. And the novel is just way down on my to read list.
Just my opinion, others may disagree.

I do compare original and the adaptation. And I also think that almost always the LN is better. The thing is that the animation like you said has a short time and many problems in adapting things, like dificult situations to animate, or how the character thinks, MANY things that are always dificult to translate to just animation, not counting things that they dont animate because of costs. But the animation rarely changes the over all story, world building of the original, SO if you dont like the story, the world, the motivation of the character, or the sircunstances that the character is in, Its probable that you wont like the novel either. Even if the novel is better, more detailed, better explained.

And like I said before ITS MY OPINION.  I didn't read it, i just said i didnt like the premise that much, and i COULD read it but its just very down on my TO READ list. Maybe you should say why you DO like this particular novel.
