Btw... Does this crack have the BGM installed in it or do I have to wait a bit more?

You'll have to wait for the music patch, I either missed the link or it's not out yet. You can play the game as it is already.

First, since this is my first post - great forum.   It's been an excellent resource for visual novel materials.

Second, a heads up.  The higurashi_kai_matsuribayashi.part1.rar file appears to be corrupted, specifically the the data02000.arc file within the archive.    I downloaded it twice to make sure I wasn't doing anything wrong on my end, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

Anyway, keep up the good work

F.Y.I   I believe the UI patch makes the little interface at the corner of the game screen disappear.

Yep File 1 is corrupted D;... please mirror it, possible MU.

Just tried downloading this for a third time and everything went OK.   Not sure what the issue was; may have been mediafire just acting up, but the file seems to be OK.

Here is the PS2 sprites and background patch, hot off /jp/

The guy who uploaded this said it'll never be perfect but it's as good as he can get given the fact that a lot of the Matsuribayashi sprites and backgrounds (Hanyuu's school uniform, Akasaka etc etc don't actually appear in the PS2 game.

Well , I may have made a mistake, The file certainly is there, but when i click the link and try to download the file it redirects me to the 320 page, which is the page where it says that the key is either invalid or the file has been deleted. Well , I've been trying to download the file for almost half a day but to no avail. I'd really appreciate it if someone uploaded the second part. I know i'm asking too much and if it's too much of a bother , I'll just find some other way to get the file. Also, I know my avatar is broken and i'll fix it , thanks for the heads up.

I guess that it depends on the sales of the entire Higurashi series.

Which is probably not that good considering so many people pirate the games (these tend to be more pirated than others). But I can't really blame anyone. There kind of expensive. I still may buy them in the future (since I like the games and want to support them) but at the moment I just can't afford it.

Ok I found out what the UI patch does and it sucks.  You lose the controls in the bottom right corner.  Next the whole window has more of a film over it it's less transparent when text is showing.. so I would avoid the UI.Patch it's awful.

This is not really connected to the topic... But does anyone know where I can download the english dub of Higurashi?? (not that I actaully like the dubbing... it's just it's subless) I looked everywhere but I can still cannot find it!

You'll probably find the japanese raws on TokyoTosho or just turn the subs off in mkv subs. Most people don't take the time to even try to pirate dubs because they are usually subpar and useless.

I couldn't agree more... But LOL It's almost impossible to find subless(raw) video either.

Just look for the DVD releases, usually in the form of .iso's although some people rip it.

I'm pretty sure I have the dual audio of some shows. Oh and the Dual Audio tag.

There are a lot of raw animes on nyatorrents, just so you know.

:( but some idiots put subtitle anime on RAW... I downloaded higurashi from there only to get a protagul(sp?) sub one.

You need to use a proper client program like Utorrent.

You don't have to if you use DFM, Utorrent only downloads torrents, so just disable that part in DFM and you can continue using it.
