just curious how long or how difficult is it to upload manga onto this forum compared to light novels?

For novels, and manga, its pretty much generally the same thing. We wait for translations to come out, whether it be fan or official. Then someone compiles and organizes the content and puts it up here. None of us have any control over when stuff comes out. That's up to whoever is translating and putting up the content. The only thing anyone has control over is how fast the compiler can organize the newly released content and upload it here.

However, usually manga takes a lot longer to translate since not only do the translators have to translate the text, they also have to seamlessly(or not really in some cases) place the text into their respective places in each image while still making sense. Luckily there's far less text in a manga compared to a novel.

If a translator takes approximately half a week to translate a chapter of a novel, then maybe a week or so for a chapter of a manga. How many chapters in a volume is based on the story. How long it would actually take is up in the air since sometimes some stuff gets put in hiatus or just gets straight up cancelled completely.

TL;DR - It generally takes longer.

I understand if I am being either very impatient  however, when will this list be updated as the manga is going to be at volume 8 in 6 days

People are waiting for this to get uploaded online. Some buy it and share. It's a wait and really just if the sharing gets dropped, can you blame them. LuCaZ also uploaded volumes 1-5 and he still hasn't updated others so...
