I dont know if I can put another source besides this site, but here goes nothing, you can find epubs on TROLLO blog. I don't know about the quality, I've read some things and I can't complain. Theu are sometime ahead of the volumes here, because they upload by chapters on some novels. But well I like it here and the awesome pdfs people do here.

Its been long since I've read something from that page, generally I donwload pdfs and if there is none, then I donwload from there, or if I want to have both formats.
But for now, my prefered format is PDF, and my prefered PDFs are Aizen's, so very grateful for those.

I just checked and no, they dont have them sweet illustrations, at least this novel. But I remember that I've seen one that has them (i could be wrong) but even then, I remember that there is at least 1 novel that has like x volumes an then has an extra file with all the illustrations.

To those waiting for the web novel. The author apologized for the delay and says that they are busy with their work with the book version of this and they say that it will be difficul to update the web novel. They will probably pick up the pace once they finish the book

Because this is a translation of a web novel... u can imagine that some does have illustrations when they make an agreement with a illustrator(a company that officializes) and then, it turns into a Light Novel. You can think something on the lines like... a Web Novel is a prototype... if the author has connections, he/she can get someone to drawn it for them... and once it gets a official version(this one had just volume 1 LN officially released in english so far)... it gets illustrations. The japanese releases i'm not sure on where it has stopped so far... but normally web novels are also ahead, and in some cases, the authors decide to make changes to the plot to fix holes or a different route, like for example... "Seirei Gentsouki - The Spirit Chronicle", the web novel follows a path and story, however by fixing holes, making relationships better written and so on, the Light Novel is way better as a final work than the web novel is... author also named the Light Novel a side-route to the main story. Hope this answered ur doubts... later volumes doesn't have illustrations normally cause the Light Novel itself didn't catch up, or illustrations weren't posted on the internet... then Aizen(or whoever makes the pdf) adds those on the chapters they seem fitting... but as i said, lots of changes may happen between novel/light novel. There are some characters unic to each in some cases along exclusive illustrations made later/fixed. Hope this answered ur doubts about this.

If u feel like looking at the "official" english release of this Light Novel and not a "Web Novel", i'd recommend u search for something like: "The Eminence in Shadow". Too bad in english they only released vol1 for now...(not fan-translated, but the company with the rights to the story... and as i said, the Japanese Light Novel is probably around vol7 in Japan since no illustrations for later chapters).

Another important thing that i forgot to add when mentioning a web novel and a light novel is that...
Web Novel = an individual work. It also carries the guy views and conceptions about the world(possible racism as well if read at different places or with different understandings).
Light Novel = A group read, analisys, helps fixing possible holes and removing anything that sounds racist to other countries where they may plan to sell a translation to.
