I would guess it a codec problem, since it hangs on startup. That's when the logo clip plays.

Try installing the cccp codec pack from http://www.cccp-project.net/
(our friendly admin swears by it). Might solve your trouble with secret wives club too.

If you are updating CCCP to the most recent betas that have HD Audio support and all that, you will have to reset ffdshow's configuration for it to run properly. Some stuff stopped working until I did that.

EDIT: And from what I remember, a couple of JAST's older titles don't work under Vista/7, but the only one that I'm sure is Tottemo: Pheromone.

Not sure, but I think that was the download versions that had the problem. In any case, I tried this copy on a 7ultimate vm and it ran fine, so we know it's not the game doing it.

I downloaded the folder, unzipped it and the install launched.

But when I selected the install size and clicked"Execute" it comes back and says "Failed to Copy"



I'm such an idiot 

Ran as administrator and it worked just fine.
