Title: Recommendations for Complete Novels [by Genre] ?
Post by: nobraintrust on May 06, 2023, 07:27:17 AM
Hi,

i wonder/ponder if there is a genre list somewhere with completed (ln) novels.

I am looking for a mix between Isekai & Dark Fantasy.
In the sense of "The Eminence in Shadow", "Redo of Healer", "Goblin Slayer" etc.
Blood and Gore but also OP twisted logic. Goblin Slayer is in the mix for the logic part of makin traps and logic. If there ever was a LN/N about a "Trapster" class that kills enemies that way and is smart with traps/poisons i wouldn't say no to that.

So thanks for any recommendations and info if i missed something.
Thanks.

If you're okay with Korean wn, then Issac.

Kidnapped Dragons is dark, not isekai but dungeons, Kill the Hero has MC playing 4D chess with traps and strategies with his regressed knowledge

Hello I don't have exactly what you ask for but these are close enough:
Fantasy of grimgar and ash
Lazy dungeon master (for traps and the like .not really dark tho)

I don't really recommend Reverend Insanity considering it's around 2000 episodes long and likely never going to be finished due to being abandoned by the author. I know because I read it till there and regretted it. Highly recommend you give korean web novels a try like Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint and Second Coming of Gluttony.
