Densetsu no Yūsha no Densetsu (伝説の勇者の伝説 The Legend of the Legendary Heroes) is a light novel series written by Kagami Takaya (鏡貴也), who is also the author of following notable series:

いつか天魔の黒ウサギ (Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi) series,
黙示録アリス (Mokushiroku Arisu/Apocalypse Alice) series,
終わりのセラフ (Owari no Seraph / Seraph of the End) series

With illustrations by Toyota Saori (とよた瑣織), and published by Fujimi Shobo (富士見書房) under their Fujimi Fantasia Bunko label, and won the fourth Dragon Cup.

Toriaezu Densetsu no Yūsha no Densetsu (とりあえず伝説の勇者の伝説 The Legend of Legendary Heroes Anyway) is a collection of short stories which took place before and across the timeline in Densetsu no Yūsha no Densetsu. The author has recommended a reading order for maximum enjoyment here

Dai Densetsu no Yūsha no Densetsu (大伝説の勇者の伝説) is the sequel to Densetsu no Yūsha no Densetsu (伝説の勇者の伝説) and picks up from where it left off in volume 11 of Densetsu no Yūsha no Densetsu.

Ochita Kuroi Yūsha no Densetsu (堕ちた黒い勇者の伝説 The Legend of the Fallen Dark Hero) is a side story series that focuses on the revolution timeline.

Plot
Ryner Lute, a tall and lean young man with black hair and languid eyes, is known as Roland's greatest magician, albeit his unmotivated appearance. He is the bearer of Alpha Stigma, a type of cursed eyes that grants him the ability to analyze magical constructs instantaneously. Accompanied by the beautiful swordswoman Ferris Eris, he was tasked by his best friend and the Hero King of Roland, Sion Astal, to embark on a journey in search of the Relics of Legendary Heroes.

Does someone know why idola translate them again? The Baka-Tsuki one is complete and available like here.

i think you are puzzeled between these 2 series "Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu" and "Dai Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu"

Dai Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu which is the sequel of Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu is done by baka-Tsuki

there is also a prequel of Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu which is known as Ochita Kuroi Yuusha no Densetsu

No mistakes. "Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu" is completely translated, Vol. 1-11, by Baka-Tsuki.

The sequel "Dai" Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu is partially translated by Baka-Tsuki till Vol. 8 and was dropped because it got licensed.

The prequel "Ochita Kuroi Yūsha no Densetsu" which he also translate are not complete, he only picks the regular chapters leaving those extra/bonus chapters for later.

He does the main series "Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu" again not "Dai". So why translate already translated books? They are good quality fan translation and no MTL involved or translation from other language.
That puzzles me.

Not Dai it is the first Densetsu series translated again. Maybe he doesn't like the Baka-Tsuki one or want to compare his skills to another one.

He said in a comment that he just want to have more material to practice japanese.
