You damn know how much i nagged you about royalroad and ELLC in specific the past months... hehe, i'm so happy you finally got to the great stuff on royalroad!

Everyone that is not familiar with this book, you have no idea just how EPIC and perfect it is. it is one of the best out there, most creative, most awesome stuff EVER.

I still haven't read them yet. Just picked some of the best rated novels in the ranking.
But man i sure hope this is worth it because the amount of effort i put in editing this is no joke. haha
And that "The Wandering Inn" turned out to be such a monster too. Volume 1's already got 1,200 pages, which i thought how other volumes would also be, but then it escalated way too much to Volume 5 ending up with 3,500 PAGES!!
I don't know who turned on my masochist button but they sure did forget to turn it off! haha
I literally felt my skills patience, diligence and perseverance leveling up.

Anyway, at first i thought this novel would just be about "breasts" because of the title. And just later realized from the illustrations that the "Chests" is also referring to that "chest" the big-breasted woman is sitting on ;D

YOU HAVE NO IDEA JUST HOW MUCH IT IS WORTH IT, like i literally can't stress it enough... also your choices were like the top spot on.
first off, the "top 3 best" pretty much by everyone and anyone are ELLC, Mother of learning and The wandering Inn. each of them is a behemoth akin to "sword art online" and "overlord" in terms of hype/fame and quality in terms of overlord.
I wish i could answer your question about your thoughts of the name "everybody loves large chests" and ur thoughts + second thoughts after seeing the picture etc' but i would be ruining the very first sorta twist/reveal of the book (that yeah, happens like right away on the first chapter... but still)
regardless, u should totally not even consider the title name or presume anything about it. because i assure you you have NEVER read something as good, as imaginative and creative and AWESOME as it is... i am 100000% sure that by the time you get like some chapters in, you will be hooked off your tits.

And the wandering inn.. boy oh boy its like crack, and indeed it is a behemoth!

Just trust me... when u wanna have some fun and enjoy it IMMENSELY, start reading ELLC! get some mileage in... i can't wait to hear your thoughts!

Want to just jump in and agree with Leifman here that ELLC is an amazing series. The audiobooks are even better, and to get the full experience just read the synopsis in the OP and just start reading.

Okay I've Never really heard of this Royal Road. But based on the comments on the thread, this could be a good read

arden i agree. comparing this to most other novels here is more than an exaggeration.

this really was not my cup of tea and struggled forcing myself to read til the end of it.

To the two above posters, and those thoughts are totally a spoiler so please spoiler tag it. Yes it is different that's part of the point, no I don't compare it to SAO at all (which is more poorly written in my very educated opinion). Honestly it's a very different sort of LitRPG. The author does the unexpected, and while it's always a surprise it's never really Deus Ex Machina. 

giving an opinion if you enjoyed a novel or not or that it is different to other (general) novels on here is not a spoiler.

I found the rape-y ero of the first volume offputting, but it has steadily been decreasing in presence throughout the second volume. For those who find it distasteful, but otherwise enjoy the story: Its only really prevalent and dragged out a couple times. Sex never really goes away but becomes mostly confined to briefly described sidenotes.
The novel might not be for everyone, as the mimic is gonna do "evil" things constantly, but if its the "lemon" chapters specifically that bother you, I'd just skip or gloss over the couple times it takes up more than a page or two to get past

The protagonist, that mimic chest in the cover, is kinda similar kumoko (kumo desu ga) but with a twisted personality.
Makes sense since he's literally a monster. Not a reincarnated human or the like.
Still, i found it very likeable MC.

The story.... it really feels very different from japanese/korean/chinese fantasy novels, but there's also that feeling that it's not that far from it.
A very weak protagonist getting stronger, fights strong enemies, there's also rpg skill system, human, demons, elves, beastkins, monsters, gods, etc.
All these common fantasy/isekai story ingredients are here but somehow it's cooked very differently from JP/KR/CN.

Same same, but different, but still same. haha

it's like a breath of fresh air or exploring that hidden part of the fantasy genre.
can't even think of a novel i know to accurately compare this with, which is good.
i hope it gets better and better as i keep on reading.


p.s. that's one hell of a misleading synopsis!! i even had to visit the site to double check if i got the right one.
for those who doesn't mind spoilers, check the "Art galleries" at the end of the volumes before reading it (well, i had no choice in the matter since i've seen them all while compiling it.)
since most of the time some character artworks appear far back from where the character appeared in the story.
it helps knowing how the characters look while reading the story.
it might spoil you or hype you, it's your choice.

i myself took a break right after 'Mind Games' (not sure in which volume it falls... but definitely way past where you are at, i am going by the official arc names from royalroad) but am definitely resuming soon enough (just been busy with so many other AMAZING royalroad and amazon/kindle published books)
