IllustStudio is an illustration creation tool which is responsive to the needs of a wide range of users from beginners to professionals. It focuses on providing comfort when drawing illustrations by providing Pen Tools which maximize performance of pen tablets and expressive Brush Tools. Users can choose which pens they want to use from 12 different pen types, such as G pen, round pen and so on. IllustStudio can express natural and smooth pen strokes with Celsys original technology, "Vector Map Technology" and pen pressure functions. Even though users may change image resolutions and scale images, IllustStudio can maintain its line quality by responding to the vector format. In addition, it has various expressive Brush Tools, such as Water Color Tools are capable of sensitive color changes, Air Brushes, and Fude Pens. I found out after toying with it a while that it doesn't seem to support my setup which is 2 1080P screens and a Intuos 4 tablet, a good 20something percent of the bottom of my screen isn't mapped to the active area of my tablet causing my pen to reach the bottom of my tablet but still 20something percent away from the bottom of the screen, it's at like version 1.1.6 now, maybe they've fixed it in the new versions, I don't know, this program is really hard to obtain cracks for. Translations on the other hand is pretty easy.
I have a 1440x900 and a 1080. Intuos 4 too iirc. Lately I've been working on my penciling and I just can't get that scratchy feeling from my tablet. Might need to order in a new tip or few.
But can't you change the tablet settings to fit the size of your paper or wherever you draw? Well currently I plug my screen, speakers, mouse, tablet, HDD/iPod/mp3 player/whatever other usb thing in and it works good. What about keeping your tablet set to 1 screen and just using the mouse otherwise?
That doesn't work because IllustStudio will overide your settings, changing it to scale to one screen will make it cut off 50% of the right half of the screen.
As for the tips, your pen holder should have 8 spare tips. twist the round base to open.
Damn you had me so excited. Then I remembered to check my tablet and it said Intuos 3 =\.
I have a few spare tips, but they're all pretty slippery except the rubber tip which has worn down now. I generally just stick a piece of paper onto my tablet and it works alright.
