@ traitorAIZEN - I echo shankstick's thanks to you for providing updates for this long haul novel.

Also, volume 21 is missing chapter 2039, as it is a duplicate of chapter 2040 "The Snowstorm that Seals the Mountain". Chapter 2039 should be titled "Can't afford to Stand on the Opposite Side". And from what I remember when reading it, it is chapter 2039 that is missing, and not chapter 2040 (ie. 2039 is the dup, and not 2040).

@ traitorAIZEN - WebNovel have finally, finally (finally!!!) released the last 28 chapters from whatever purgatory hell they've been keeping them locked away in for the past half a year. And chapters 3100-3127 are already up on several of the usual aggregators.

@traitorAIZEN-sama can you please add the last 28 chapter to volume 31 and put hiatus to status? cause i don't think the translation will be continue.@ rizukitomi - I second your request for the addition of the last 28 chapters, but the translation status is complete since there are no more chapters to translate, and the author stopped writing the novel several years go without the story ending*.

If your hiatus assumption is based on the discrepancy between the source having 3233 chapters while Webnovel's version only has 3127 chapters, then that is because of the following chapter in the source, which for whatever bizarre reason is "chapter 2893-2993". And it's not some insanely long chapter either. It's just a regular chapter with a regular word count, but which just happens to account for 100 chapters. This is chapter 2887 on Webnovel by the way.

So the source went: 2892, 2993, 2994
And Webnovel went: 2886, 2887, 2888

Because Webnovel obviously didn't follow suit with the chapter numbering, meaning the previous chapter discrepancy of 6 became 106. While the other 6 chapters can probably be explained by 2-part chapters in the source getting merged into 1 on Webnovel. But there aren't 100+ missing chapters or anything like that, which is an easy assumption to make if going simply by the chapter count of the source and Webnovel.
 

* Although having just said all that, and which has the case for a long time, is also not entirely true as of a week or so ago. Because the author posted the first chapter of "Extra chapter - Dark Plane" on the 22nd December 2023. I obviously have no idea if Webnovel, or anyone, will be translating it. Or if the author intends this new story to be a proper continuation, or simply a few extra chapters of a side story. Time will tell in both cases.
