you might have a codec problem. I recommend uninstalling all codecs and just install CCCP latest beta build

hello, new here (although been here without registering before )

Just a question: has everyone been able to go through the opening movie successfully? I think basically the first week ended, and it was supposed to play op movie, but I keep getting it frozen without loading. Wondering if anyone encountered similar problems and/or solutions to the problem (did not change when I change compatability setting to windows xp sp2 nor on vista). Help much appreciated. Really great game so far :/

hmmmm did you apply "full install" or "partial install" ?

if you did full install, check in the game folder if there are movie file (.avi) and try play it to check if it works fine

if you did partial install, I think you need to play with the disc (.iso / .cue / .bin) meaning you need to play with the disc mount

Mine crashed too when I used partial install, but I just reinstalled with full installation because I was too lazy mounting the cd every time

Yeah, Kureha nailed it. I didn't install CCCP so it was indeed a codex problem. It was fully installed to begin with btw. Anyway, went through everything again (new game; had to delete saved game :/) but basically, everything worked like a charm. Thank you all for your help ^^

hey may someone help with the install process? when i mount the system image it installs then once it hits 50% it pops up a screen and i tried mounting the data but it still did nothing am i doing something wrong?

use the patch to install it doubles as an installer if it detects that you've not installed it yet

i tried that but then it says insert disc 2 and i already have the data and system images mounted?

unmount the system and then mount the data in the drive the system was in

can anyone help me pls? >.< after i downloaded directly from the hotfiles link given, i cannot open the program to start the game after i extract from the patch extractor. how do i start the game? sry.. kinda noob here.

i dun see any installation program inside there. only 2 cues and bins program.

you're supposed to have a virtual drive program like daemon tools, you mount the files and they act like cds
