I went straight ahead for Riho's route and enjoyed it fully. So far, it was much better than Kira☆Kira.
I have a feeling the other routes are gonna disappoint me though (minus Kanade's maybe).

.. I stay easy to please overall though, so my opinion is kinda hard to take account of.

My main problem with Kirakira was that the main char was dressed as a girl. Will give this a try once in done with kamidori

the torrent is being picky right now say max peers reached and aient d'loading after ive already downed a 100mb of it :S

EDIT: woke up just now and its done so what ever the tracker prob was got fixed  8)

Riho's route is good. The story maybe dragging a bit but it managed to keep me interested till the end....
too bad it has no epilogue nor after story  :)

Kanade's route?  *yawn* Boring.......  there's nothing to write home about.  The only thing worth mentioning is it makes me lose interested real quick and think "When will this end?" which was quite a feat since I rarely feel like that even when I was playing some boring route in the other game only just for the sake of completeness alone. (I'd rather replay Riho's route again.  Yeah, it's that boring :( )

On the contrary I prefer Kanade's route a bit more comparing to Riho's route, although to be honest I don't exactly have too high an opinion on both of them.

The conflict is too much singular in both case and it really only boil downs to Shoichi and his Violin. At least Kira-Kira each route has its own main argument. At least in Kanade's route it was tackle from more artistry angle, while Riho's route it's feel a bit dragged out. Also, Riho's route for some reason doesn't seem to be about her at all, but rather about Shoichi for the most part.

Although to be fair, I played Kanade route first, so maybe when Rino's route come around the whole Violin repetition already is on my nerve.

There's no setup required just extract and play (for the torrent version at least)

The two last Kanji throws me off, so this might be completely different past "essential"/"function".. heck, I might be completely wrong tbh.. anyone confirm?

And don't forget about incompatibilities with multiple displays. Several games suffer from those.

When trying to play the game I get a pretty unique visual problem..... All the text are either the letter h or boxes.... Similar to playing these types of games in a non Japanese region.... But this is a recompiled game that doesn't need a Japanese region isn't it?

Most fan translated game need to play wit Japanese non-unicode setting or with the applocale at least... without it you will get gibberish in text, heck... some game even refuse to start at all....

btw try to install the font pack.. it might help...

While what you said is right, this game isn't fan translated, Mangagamer translated it. You do not need japanese region at all for this one, >Tested.
