Description:

Milking Cow Kotori is responsible for a great part of those titles, even when there are other girls she just steals their spotlight. Not that I complain about it.

Was there a Kotori route in the original? =-="  It seems very vague... like it was either an extra route or something... all I can remember is Nemu being annoying... and Sakura girl being witchy... is the Sakura tree thing still around?  I would appreciate them removing it >_>

Kotori had one of the 3 main routes of the original title, but it was shorter than Nemu's and Sakura's, which made it more enjoyable besides her personality and backstory.

The sakura tree is what the original Da Capo revolves around. You wouldn't have Magical AIDS, telepathy, dream diving, sweets out of nowhere, etc. without the tree. It would be Mako's route, Mako's route everywhere.

Basically its an alternate version of Kotori's route where Nemu turns into a clingy psycho bitch for a bit and then dies

Just say Happy end A, Happy end B, Nemu end and Normal End
Please see the extra scenario requirements to unlock them

On the first intersection save 1.

Care Nemu as a sister
Save 2
Call out Sakura (Another => Happy End B)
Pray together (Another => Happy End B)
Beside her (Another => Happy End B)
For the places choose the first choice
-Happy End A- a.k.a best ending?

Recommended by me route : Nemu-> Normal -> B -> A
but we're free to choose, eh?

Extra Scenario Requirements
1. Kotori and Family and Manjyuu
While in Happy End A route, on 18th April After School choose Sakura Park
2. ---Next Year
While in Happy End A route, on 18th April After School choose Shopping Centre
3. I will protect the world
16th April at school, choose hallway
4. Kanako, Seiko, Kotori
17th April at school, choose hallway
5.Maidens' secret
17th April after school, choose shopping centre

Actually this requirements is hinted by Suginami in his crazy speech within the choosing period.
DO NOTE you gotta choose and play it through till the end. (I know it's troublesome but you can get multiple scenarios)

He always manages to get a good laugh out of me and, when he wants to, he can have his serious moments.

If Suginami was the protagonist, the mystery that makes him so awesome would be gone.

Then we would have to insult him instead of Jun'ichi.

Nah he'd still be awesome though. And we wouldn't have to go through all the emo indecision of Jun'ichi.

Need more protags like Morita Kenichi, Azai Kyosuke, Taichi Kurosu, Naoe Yamato & Zanma Rouga.

Edit: how could I forget Shiki, key protags tend to be decent too. And I know a lot of ppl hate Shirou but he has his awesome moments.

I'm going by what they made of Jun'ichi as a MC and, even though Shirou was dumb as a brick in some scenes, his awesome moments balanced him in such a way that made him more enjoyable than Shiki.

And how could you forget about Rance? He turned rape into some kind of comic act.

I didn't forget about Rance, I was just torn b/c of his tendency to rape the ladies. I mean he was awesome enough that he didn't need to so yeh. But I can accept it since like you said, they somehow managed to turn it into a comic act.

in the first game i finished the moe route and the 2 other main routes before i even considered her route
the biggest fail in the sakura route was bad h-scenes

Thanks for this.  Kotori is my favourite out of the original cast, so I've been waiting check this out...though Moe comes in at a close second.  As far as routes go though, I found the best path in the original game was Miharu's route.  I just wish that Mangagamer would have brought out Plus Communication instead of the original, but thats a pipe dream if I ever saw one.  Well, it looks like I'm rambling again, so I'll shut up now...

nemu is a bitch. clingy bitch is clingy, she sure had convenient timing at the beauty pageant. also thought she was going to go all yandere on me  ::)

She actually kind of does imo

[spoiler]Nemu wished for Jun'ichi to always be by her side. The sakura tree grants her wish by making her fall ill, thus forcing him to take care of her. When Sakura deduces what's going on and tells Nemu about it, Nemu says she knows and is perfectly okay with it. Even though she's coughing up blood. She's demanding Jun'ichi never let go of her hand or talk to anybody else but her by the end.[/spoiler]

Also the Nemu ending totally feels like the Touko ending in Suika. Except Touko was more awesome.

is suika worthwhile to get? im still uidecided on it since the art is kinda unappealing, but the h-anime was kind of interesting, so im sorta interested in the VN

I don't know if I'd buy it myself but it's worth playing through a few chapters. I only played through the first three chapters and don't think I even got a good ending in one of them mind you...BUT ANYWAY. It's rather dark, a series of three unrelated (?) stories in a rural town during the summer...so it's kind of got that "mysterious goings on in the country" feeling going on, with an obligatory plot twist at the end of each chapter. It felt kind of mellow to me too.

I try and buy games when I can, but I don't think there's anything wrong with trying before you buy  ;)
Unless you're not talking about buying, in which case just download and play and kill a few hours with it. Worst case scenario is you wasted some time and have to delete it. It's pretty interesting at least.
