Description:
Umineko no Naku Koro ni takes place in the year 1986 during the time frame of October 4 and October 5 on a secluded island named Rokkenjima (六軒島). The head of a wealthy family named Kinzō Ushiromiya, who lives on and owns Rokkenjima, is near death, and eleven of his family members arrive on the island to discuss how Kinzō's assets will be divided once he is dead. Also on the island are five of Kinzō's servants, and his personal physician. After the eleven family members arrive, a typhoon traps them on the island and shortly after people start to get mysteriously murdered.

If you want to play Umineko at a larger resolution, you only need to edit the ons.cfg file that's located on the same folder as the executable with Notepad and add the line "window-width=800" for 800x600 or "window-width=1024" for 1024x768, for example.

But now I have another...I tried to extract the .mds and .mdf files from the .rar's but when I extract them to the folder, they don't show up. Why is this? I can't mount the game unless the files come out of the .rar.

Ok so I tryed getting the game by downloading it from a different source and was able to extract the files. New problem. Everytime I try to mount the file it says "failed to mount". Im running MagicISO on Vista. Why wont it mount? I really want to read this....

I only use Daemon Tools to mount images and it works fine with it. In case it also has problems with it, you should try to change your locale to Japanese in case it's in another language. The first time I installed Umineko was on Windows 7, so I doubt that it has any problems with Vista.

Ah yes I think you are right, I do have to change it to Japanese Local. I was just hoping I wouldnt have to since its a pain ^ ^;. Thank you very much c:

I updated the patch links since Witch Hunt released a new patch with the most recent ONScripter and several fixes to the script which makes the translation more accurate as in Episode 5.

Is there a torrent for this at all? Not a huge fan of sharebee. Thanks for the upload though.

I'm sure that one of the usual sites have one. And for the people that don't want to download the files one by one, you can use something called JDownloader that will do all the work for you.
