I've played a couple.. no.. wait.. lets say about 10 hours reading this demo (taking my own sweet time of course)...
And i noticed something, sometimes... The demo itself is like a 'linear' story. I believe there are some 'choices' that were to be made. But, the demo conveniently continues on with the story as if the player made a choice, where in fact there was no choice to begin with.
So far, i've only encountered 1 'choice' route; there being 3 options, but for some reason EVERY ONE OF THEM directs to the EXACT same response.
*shrugs...
So like i said.. Linear demo i guess. You only play out the parts where they have translated, nothing more.
But its a nice read for anyone who wants to have quite afew laughs. There are references to English jokes there too. So i find that a rather nice change of pace, rather than the standard japanese 'wordplay'.

judging by the script size on tlwiki, each girl's route is about 1.5-2x the size of the common route, so the game seems to be of medium length. It simply doesn't have many/any non-sex choices once the route starts ;p

I'm playing with the latest patch from a few posts up and whenever I load my game it starts at the beginning of the main girls first speech even though I've saved later than that. Are you sure that you are using the patch on a COMPLETE INSTALL version of the game along with the patch?.. U know? The full game.. Not the DEMO that was linked here...

I notice sometimes while playing, that a 'whiteish screen with all 4 girls & japanese texts i cannot understand' appears while playing sometimes...
Im just assuming.. but i think im pretty sure.. That that screen is to notify you that you have cleared a 'chapter' and it began to 'auto-save'... So the next time you were to click 'continue' from the main title page.. It will transport you to the beginning of that next chapter...

To fix this problem open up the files with winrar. Do not just click extract with the right mouse button actually open up the winrar program and under the tools section there should be a repair archive function. Click that function for both of the files and then it should be possible for extraction/ fix the problem.

Thanks for the complete patch Angelus, but after I tested it the patch seemed to only covered putina, ell & yukino route when I tried it in Ran route the text box become empty just like the incomplete patch from TLWiki, maybe you forgot to insert the script from the middle of Ran route

TinFoil only complained about a moe overload, but the project is still active.
For those having problems with the Ran route (ie. blank text box) you need to remove the English patch, play past the point where you get the error and save. Put the English patch back and resume. I managed to complete Ran's route this way.
And to be a little more specific on the above problem, the game literally only stops on that one line, so you can take the patch out, load the save and click past that one line, then put it back in so as to avoid missing out on the story.

No idea about getting loaded saves to start at the point you saved at, but if you click continue it'll go back to the point of your last save instead of the start of the chapter, not too useful if you play several routes at once (yes I got that bored, and still haven't completed any routes in this game) back logs a bit large atm and there's more stuff coming soon and starcraft 2.

So for confirmation and for noob-friendly-ness...
1) Get to the 'problem point'... Save...
2) Exit game, temp. remove patch to different folder.

Not quite so easy. At least for me.
1. Get to problem. Save. (I recommend you review log, and try to "remember" where is the "problem")
2. Take out patch
3. When you continue (or load), you WILL get to "beginning of chapter". Which is actually quite far away(at least 40-50 lines).
4. Go past "problem" (I hope you remember from #1). Save.
5. Put back patch
6. Continue (or load). The load point happen to be the exact next line after "problem". Looks like the next line is "beginning of chapter".
I am not sure if it is coincidence, but for me, both of the problem spot happen to be "beginning of chapter" on the next line.

No this is not like school days in the since of a video novel. This is more like your average visual novel.
The only real difference between this and other VNs presentationally is that the text box moves around, so it has an effect more like speech bubbles in a comic/manga.

There is a bug on Ran's route (it's properly explained how to bypass it on previous posts), and parts of the translation are unedited on that patch. Other than that, everything is just fine.

That's unexpected, I don't remember anyone else having the same problem, but you could try to remove the patch. It could be related to it, and one of the probable reasons that the quality check is taking so long.
and that means i have to reinstall it orz

Ran's route is fully translated. However, there is a glitch in the patch where the text stops, the scene she and the maid are fighting in the abandoned building. You need to remove the patch, play past that point where the glitch and then put the patch back in. I managed to finish Ran's route doing this. This has already been addressed in more detail earlier in the thread. Go to page 4 of the thread, there are several posts discussing this issue.

I'm actually playing the FD now and I'm not sure if there is a Kuu route because when you start the game you only get to choose between a continuation of Irina and Ell's route. I sure hope there is one though, maybe it's an unlockable route or something.

I got this error a few times before. Turned out it was ATi tray tools. If you have that or anything like it running, It will give that error when you try to run the game.

After what I assume is a flawless installation and I try to start the game. My system locale is already in Japanese. Any tips :x? I'm on a 64bit OS by the way.
change the name of your game folder to president since the folder name in japaness doesnt make sense..so it should be like this
president/and all game files are here
ok now right click president folder and cut it...go to your computer and enter the C drive and paste it there
so your game folder will be like this c/president/all files are here
ok start the game and make sure your system local in japaness (unicode system)
this should work for most games at least it worked for me

You could start by pressing "Alt+Prt Scr" to only take screenshots of the game's window and, then, you should wait for the final patch that will be released next month, or so.

Classic KiriKiri engine error (the same thing happened when I was editing Tokyo Alice). Someone forgot to edit or erased a command, so the engine crashes.
Just wait for the final patch.

After I saw that JAST took over, I said screw it and played the leaked patch that came out in November. That Ran route bug is annoying, but otherwise the game's enjoyable. Amusingly, the leacked patch that wasn't totally edited had fewer typos than Da Capo II...Go Mangagamer!

Yeah, you can't really blame him for that. It pretty much became manditory to join the Nazi party or Hitler Youth in 1933. If you didn't, then the party would start investigating you to make sure you weren't an enemy of the state.
Even if it wasn't mandatory, I think it's safe to say that a teenager can't really be held entirely responsible for whatever political groups they might associate themselves with due to teenagers not exactly having the greatest judgement, and/or being under their parents' control.

Or if you read the post where someone kindly shared patches that fixed that and most of the typos, you would know that there isn't that much missing from an eventual final version. One of those patches has the last scripts before JAST took over and unless they decide to pull a Kazoku Keikaku on it, I doubt that they are going to spend much time on them.

I would have never bothered to mark all the old links as "outdated" if this wasn't the official release. At most, I would have pointed the patches as so. And it's the same with my previous comments, even Yagami gets that most translations need Applocale or the entire Windows locale to be set to Japanese, so why would I point it out right after I posted new links with the official release? According to some Anons, it also needs Applocale or the Japanese locale.
